Simplified access to practice medical professions in Poland

We kindly inform you about the simplified rules for foreigners to work in medical professions in Poland, i.e. doctor, dentist, nurse, midwife, paramedic.

From December 30, 2020, the amended regulations will apply to facilitate access to medical professions in Poland by:

1. doctors,
2. dentists,
3. nurses,
4. midwives,
5.medical rescuers,

who obtained qualifications to practice these professions in non-EU countries.

Proceedings on granting consent to perform work in Poland in the above-mentioned professions is simplified and the procedure has been significantly shortened. Applications submitted to the Minister of Health, including those submitted through Polish consuls, are subject to efficient examination.
