Special screening of the film "20 Days in Mariupol"

"20 Days in Mariupol" is an uncompromising document that cannot be forgotten, as well as a shocking film indictment of Russia: a record of the destruction of the titular city at the risk of his life, made by the only correspondent who stayed there until the end. This film work, made with impressive formal discipline, keeps you in suspense from the first minutes to the finale. Few creators show the merciless cruelty of war with such power. However, Chernov and the team do not do this to shock. Their intention is to leave a testimony - and shock the conscience of the world. (Kinoteka, Filmweb)

The audience included representatives of the diplomatic corps, media, opinion-forming and academic circles, as well as South African citizens.

After the film screening, there was a discussion with the participation of Ambassador of Ukraine Liubow Abravitova. The Ambassador of the Republic of Poland, Adam Burakowski also delivered a short speech.
