Warsaw International Book Fair - Reportage Day
28.05.2026
Reportage Day, a meeting with the authors of the five best reportage books of 2025, will take place on Saturday, May 30th, from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the National Stadium. The event is part of the International Book Fair.
Readers will be met by Kasper Bajon, Joanna Czeczott, Anna Bikont, and international guests Emily Carrington from Canada and Peter Pomerantsev, who lives in the UK and the USA.
This year's list of nominees includes books addressing the participation of ancestors in the colonization of Africa, the lives of Polish Jews immediately after the war, sexual trauma and the path to justice, a trip to Kazakhstan, known as the largest prison in the USSR, and the mechanisms of information warfare.
137 books were submitted for the 17th edition of the Ryszard Kapuściński Award: 96 were written in Polish and 41 were translations. The reports were published by 35 publishing houses, and three titles were self-published.
Admission to all events is free. The meetings are translated into Polish and Polish Sign Language. During the meetings, you will be able to ask questions of the authors and receive autographs afterwards. Detailed information about Reportage Day is also available at:
