    The National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management (NFOŚiGW) will transfer PLN 1.87 billion for the development of charging and refuelling infrastructure for zero-emission vehicles: PLN 1 billion will be directed to the development of the electricity grid for electric vehicle chargers, and PLN 870 million will support investments in the chargers and hydrogen stations themselves.

    “Today’s ceremony of laying the cornerstone for the construction of two low-emission gas and steam units at the Dolna Odra Power Plant is an important day for the Polish energy industry. This project will allow for energy transition, taking into account the conditions of the national energy mix” – said the Minister of Climate and Environment, Anna Moskwa, on 25 November 2021, during the ceremony of laying the cornerstone for the construction of this project.

    At the invitation of the Minister of Climate and Environment, the representatives of government administration and stakeholders of the biogas and biomethane sector on 23 November 2021 signed the “Agreement on cooperation for the development of the biogas and biomethane sectors”. Its objective is to support the development of the biogas and biomethane sectors in Poland. The signed document will help maximise the so-called local content, i.e. the share of Polish entrepreneurs and technologies in the supply chain for the construction and operation of domestic biogas and biomethane plants as well as the development of the market and the common use of biogas and biomethane in the economy.

    The Deputy Minister of Climate and Environment, Adam Guibourgé-Czetwertyński, together with the Slovak Secretary of State at the Ministry of Economy, Karol Galek and the Czech Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade, paid a visit to Paks in Hungary. The meeting was held at the invitation of Minister János Süla, responsible for the planning, construction and commissioning of two new units at the Paks Nuclear Power Plant, as part of Hungarian Presidency of the Visegrad Group. The event was held on 18 November 2021.

    „All waste imported to Poland will be covered by the SENT system. Through this, illegal import of waste will be under special supervision and vehicles transporting waste will be better monitored” – informed the Deputy Minister of Climate and Environment, Jacek Ozdoba, at a press conference held on 18 November 2021. The meeting was also attended by the head of the National Revenue Administration, Magdalena Rzeczkowska and the acting Chief Inspector for Environmental Protection, Michał Mistrzak.

The meeting took place on 4 November 2021 in Warsaw.

    Closer cooperation with Uzbekistan in the area of geology and natural resources was the main discussion topic during the meeting of Deputy Minister of Climate and Environment Piotr Dziadzio with the delegation from Uzbekistan headed by Bobir Islamov, Chairman of the State Committee for Geology and Mineral Resources. The talks were held on 4 November 2021 at the Polish Geological Institute - State Research Institute in Warsaw.
