21.04.2021Successful Polish-Japanese cooperationA demonstration project involving the implementation and testing of the Special Protection Scheme (SPS) system by PSE SA and the BESS battery energy storage system, installed at the Bystra wind farm owned by Energa OZE, part of the ORLEN Group, was completed. The project, co-financed by the Japanese government agency New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO), was supported by the Ministry of Climate and Environment.

15.04.2021Pszczyna included in the next anti-smog pilot of the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water ManagementPszczyna (Silesia), one of the most polluted municipalities in Poland, will see from 16 April this year anti-smog pilot programme implemented by the National Fund for Environmental Protection and water Management, which will be the second initiative of this kind after the programme announced two days ago for the Zachodniopomorskie Voivodeship. The total amount of PLN 6 million was allotted to the replacement of old furnaces and for the thermal modernisation of multi-family residential buildings (3-20 flats). Additional funds will be directed to the municipality for information and promotion activities.
