01.07.2019Today, the Minister of Environment Henryk Kowalczyk and the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Jan Krzysztof Ardanowski took part in a joint press conference concerning the implementation of a nationwide programme for environmental regeneration of soils by liming. During the event, an agreement was also signed between the Regional Funds for Environmental Protection and Water Management and the National Chemical–Agricultural Station in Warsaw.

28.06.2019Vice-Minister Sławomir Mazurek was one of the main guests of the 2nd Polish-British Business, Trade and Investment Forum, during which he attended a meeting with Graham Stuart, Deputy Minister for Investment at the Department for International Trade. Their talks concerned, among other things, exchange of experiences in the field of implementation of green technologies.

19.06.2019Air quality improvement is a priority for the Polish government and the Ministry of Environment, which is why on the 19th of September 2018, we launched the “Clean Air” priority programme, which encompasses subsidies for thermal modernisation of single-family homes, as well as replacement of heating systems. Its implementation is planned until 2029.

13.06.2019“The National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management is spearheading the system of financing environmental protection in Poland. Throughout 30 years of its activity, it earmarked nearly 96 billion zlotys in total on activities aimed to improve the condition of the environment, and the result of its financing for projects can be seen throughout the country,” said Minister of Environment Henryk Kowalczyk during a conference commemorating the 30th anniversary of the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management (NFOŚiGW).

07.06.2019The vision of a climate-neutral economy and the greening of the European Semester were among the main topics of the meeting of the EU Council for the Environment (ENVI), attended by Sławomir Mazurek, Vice-Minister of Environment. The meeting took place on the 5th of March in Brussels.

06.06.2019Vice-Minister Sławomir Mazurek was one of the special guests of the 1st Cogeneration Congress in Kazimierz Dolny. The Vice-Minister took part in a discussion panel entitled “Cogeneration 2.0,” which tackled issues such as district heating, as well as improving air quality.
