03.04.2024Opening of the Polish-American Regional Clean Energy Training CenterDeputy Minister of Climate and Environment Miłosz Motyka, US Ambassador to Poland Mark Brzezinski and Michael Goff of the US Department of Energy officially inaugurated the Polish-American Regional Clean Energy Training Center (CETC). On 3 April 2024, the Warsaw University of Technology held an inaugural nuclear training session. The opening was also attended by the Rector of the Warsaw University of Technology, Professor Krzysztof Zaremba, the President of the State Atomic Energy Agency, Andrzej Głowacki, and the Director General of the Chamber of Commerce for Energy and Environmental Protection, Bogdan Pilch.

Agreement on the energy cooperation signedJoint action on energy security, as well as the restoration of Ukraine's natural resources and elements of its flora and fauna, and the issue of starting negotiations on a bilateral agreement on environmental impact assessments in a transboundary context were the topics of talks between Minister of Climate and Environment Paulina Hennig-Kloska, Deputy Ministers Mikołaj Dorożała and Maciej Bando with the Minister of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources and the Deputy Minister of Energy of Ukraine. The agreement on Polish-Ukrainian cooperation in the field of energy (the so-called Memorandum of Understanding) was signed during meetings with representatives of the Ukrainian side on 28 March 2024 at the Ministry's headquarters.
