“Latvia is Poland’s very important partner in the Baltic Sea region and one of its major partners in the area of security and the broadly understood European policy,” emphasized Minister Jacek Czaputowicz after his meeting with the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Latvia Edgars Rinkēvičs.

“Sweden is a key partner for Poland in the Baltic Sea region and the EU,” underscored Secretary of State for European Affairs Konrad Szymański during his meeting today with the Swedish Minister for EU Affairs Hans Dahlgren.

On behalf of the President of the Republic of Poland, Minister Jacek Czaputowicz handed nominations to new Polish ambassadors today. Aleksandra Piątkowska will represent Poland in Buenos Aires, Krzysztof Bojko in Ulaanbaatar, and Maciej Fałkowski will be posted to Teheran.

"The time for theoretical discussions is over. Today, we're in the middle of a hybrid crisis and we have to tackle it," said Deputy Minister Maciej Lang at the opening of the first meeting of NATO's hybrid threat experts, co-organised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Government Centre for Security (RCB).

"Singapore is one of Poland's key partners in Southeast Asia, one with whom we want to strengthen our trade relations," said Polish Foreign Minister Jacek Czaputowicz beginning his Singaporean visit yesterday.

“Anniversary celebrations of the Eastern Partnership should help make this project more visible in EU Member States and, perhaps more importantly, in the six partner countries,” said the deputy chief of Polish diplomacy addressing a conference organised on the 10th anniversary of the Eastern Partnership “Strong Together” in Chisinau.

“We are interested in a wide exchange of information and views concerning regional and international challenges and in strengthening bilateral cooperation with our Saudi partners on the international arena,” emphasized Minister Jacek Czaputowicz during his one-day visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The visit of the chief of Polish diplomacy to Saudi Arabia and Singapore on 23-27 April 2019 will be devoted to the development of economic, military and assistance cooperation, as well as the international security.
