Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Radosław Sikorski took part in a meeting with ambassadors from EU member states accredited to Poland. The talks concerned current international situation, including European security, support for Ukraine, and consequences of the Middle East conflict for Europe.

The situation in the Middle East was the key item on the agenda of today's video conference of the EU's foreign ministers and their counterparts from the Gulf Cooperation Council states, or GCC.

On 4 March, Poland's top diplomat Radosław Sikorski held a phone call with His Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as part of consultations with his counterparts from the Middle East. The ministers discussed current events related to the crisis in the Middle East.

The Palace of the Commonwealth hosted today's informal talks among the nine foreign ministers of the Council of the Baltic Sea States (CBSS). The top diplomats gathered in Warsaw at the invitation of Deputy Prime Minister Radosław Sikorski. High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas and the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Denmark to Poland also took part in the meeting.

Another edition of the diplomatic and consular training was launched, this time named in honour of Edward Raczyński. The ceremony, organised on 3 March, was attended by Director-General and Head of the Foreign Service Henryka Mościcka-Dendys, some of the Ministry's senior officials, and Diplomatic Academy staff.

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski met today in Warsaw with Croatia's Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Gordan Grlić Radman. They discussed cooperation within NATO, prospective EU enlargement to the Western Balkans, and economic relations.

Prime Minister Donald Tusk outlined actions taken to help Poles in the Middle East who are in need of assistance. Following a recommendation of the Coordination Team headed by Minister of Sport and Tourism Jakub Rutnicki, a government flight will be organised for Polish citizens requiring special assistance, including persons with disabilities and illnesses. The Coordination Team meeting, held at the MFA headquarters, was attended by, among others, Deputy Prime Minister Radosław Sikorski, Deputy Prime Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, and Minister of Infrastructure Dariusz Klimczak.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Radosław Sikorski spoke with Foreign Minister of the Sultanate of Oman Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi about the current security situation in the Persian Gulf region.

The consultations between the foreign ministers of Poland and Romania, Radosław Sikorski and Oana Țoiu, focused on the situation in the Middle East, the future of the Polish-Romanian Strategic Partnership, security along NATO's eastern flank, and support for Ukraine and Moldova.

A meeting of the Advisory Legal Committee of the Minister of Foreign Affairs took place at the Ministry's headquarters.
