From January 17-19, 2026, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland Radosław Sikorski visited India (Jaipur and New Delhi). The visit focused on political dialogue, security, and economic and technological cooperation.

On November 18, a ceremony was held in Bengaluru to confer the "Bene Merito” medal to Raghu Rajappa, Honorary Consul of the Republic of Poland. The decoration recognizes his contribution to promoting Poland in India and fostering bilateral relations.

On 10 November, the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in New Delhi hosted a reception on the occasion of Poland's National Independence Day.

The Republic of Poland was honored to serve as the Focus Country at this year's Kolkata International Film Festival (KIFF).
