Poland in Kenya

On May 14th, the next edition of the Polish-Kenyan Business Forum 2026 took place in Nairobi, organized by the PAIH Foreign Trade Office in Nairobi with the support of the Embassy of Poland. The Forum aimed to support the presence of Polish companies in the Kenyan market and to establish trade and investment contacts between Polish and Kenyan companies.

On 10 May, a representative of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Nairobi participated in the EU-Somalia Partnership Dialogue held in Mogadishu.

On May 7th, the official launch of the " Strategic Partnership for Advancing Urban Search and Rescue (USAR) Capabilities” between the Polish Center for International Aid (PCPM), the National Disaster Management Unit (NDMU), and the counties of Nairobi and Kiambu took place at the Fire and Rescue Training Center (FIRETRACK) in Kiambu.

It has come to the attention of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Nairobi that an unauthorised phone number has been listed on Google Maps, and is being used to fraudulently collect money from members of the public under false claims related to visa services.

The Embassy of Poland in Nairobi held a festive reception on 23rd of April, 2026 on the occasion of the Constitution Day in order to commemorate the adoption of the 3rd of May Constitution of 1791.

On Thursday, 23.04.2026 the Consulate will be opened until 13:00.

On 20 April 2026 Chargé d'affaires a.i. Marcin Kubiak, together with Krzysztof Szczerski Permanent Representative of the Republic of Poland to the United Nations in New York, held a meeting with Ambassador Njambi Kinyungu, Deputy Director-General of the Department of Multilateral Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Diaspora of the Republic of Kenya.

A courtesy call by Chargé d'affaires a.i. Marcin Kubiak and Ambassador Krzysztof Szczerski, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Poland to the United Nations in New York, to the Director-General of the United Nations Office in Nairobi, Zainab Bangura, took place in the context of the ongoing session of the Executive Borad of the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-HABITAT).

On April 17th, the finale of the 4th LampART Short Film Festival, co-organized by the Polish Embassy in Nairobi in cooperation with the Mombasa University of Technology, took place at the Alliance Française in Mombasa.
