We want residents of municipalities and counties to have the same opportunities as those living in large cities. We contribute funds to the budgets of municipalities, counties and towns across the country for investments that are close to the people. Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki visited towns in the Mazowieckie and Łódzkie Provinces to listen to the advice and demands of residents of municipalities and counties - they are the ones who pave the way for us to move forward.

27.04.2023The modern airport in Radom is now openThe construction of the Heroes of Radom's June 1976 Warsaw Radom Airport is a response to the needs of travellers and a development opportunity for the region. The new airport means over 400 jobs. The facility will relieve the pressure on the existing airports,Warsaw-Chopin Airport and Warsaw-Modlin Airport, which are often at their capacity limit. Warsaw-Radom airport will offer new, comfortable connections in various foreign directions.

During his speech, he spoke about how our country can contribute to the next great industrial revolution and how we can benefit from it. The head of the Polish government announced that Poland will create the best possible conditions for the IT industry, not only in our country. Today, Microsoft announced the launch of the first cloud computing region in Poland and Central and Eastern Europe. This is the next stage of the investment in the development of the Polish Digital Valley, announced on 5 May 2020.

26.04.2023 GliwicePrime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki: the development of Polish defence industry is important in Gliwice and across PolandThe development of Polish armament manufacturers is crucial for our country. Thanks to investment in that area, we can modernise production lines, we get new orders and we create more jobs. During his visit to Bumar Łabędy in Gliwice, Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki announced the production of the Krab howitzers at that factory. Poland has also recently signed a letter of intent to service Leopard 2 tanks at Bumar Łabędy.

This benefits all Poles who receive refunds when settling their PIT for the previous year. We have reduced income tax from 17 per cent to 12 per cent. At the same time, we have raised the tax-free amount to PLN 30,000 and the tax threshold from just over PLN 85,000 to PLN 120,000. Thanks to these measures, 20 million taxpayers paid lower taxes. A total of PLN 18 billion will go back to the citizens.

21.04.2023We support the sustainable development of Poland – we foster local investmentsThe sustainable development of all localities across Poland is crucial for our government. Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, during the 2nd Congress of Small and Medium-Sized Towns in Chełm, outlined the support we are providing to local governments to date. We invest in developing local roads, water supply systems or sports infrastructure. This would not be possible without tightening the tax system and repairing public finances. Thanks to this, we are implementing our government programmes in cities, towns and villages across Poland. The PM announced further financial support for local governments in their development.
