Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki's second day in the United States of America included visits to the Lockheed Martin facilities and the Anniston Army Depot. Both of these sites are currently producing heavy equipment that will be delivered to the Polish Army in the coming months – 14 M1 Abrams tanks will arrive as early as June 2023. Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki met with representatives of the US military industry to strengthen the smooth implementation of Polish-American military cooperation. We are working to speed up the deliveries and potentially move some of the equipment servicing and ammunition production processes to Poland. Investments of this scale in our country's security are possible thanks to a sealed and improved state budget.

The first day of Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki's visit to the United States of America began with a meeting with Vice President Kamala Harris at the White House in Washington. The conversation between the head of the Polish government and the American politician covered a number of topics, including Polish and American involvement in European security, energy cooperation and arms contracts between our countries. The Polish Prime Minister also stressed the importance of American investments in Poland. The United States is one of Poland's closest allies – our relations are now probably stronger than ever. Economic cooperation and military cooperation are the key points of Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki's current visit to the United States.

During his visit to the Republic of Moldova, the Prime Minister met with Prime Minister Dorin Recean, as well as with President Maia Sandu. The talks focused on multidimensional support for the Republic of Moldova in the wake of Russian aggression on Ukrainian territory. The leaders also discussed issues of broadly understood bilateral cooperation on economic and financial projects. The heads of government also signed a memorandum of understanding on cyber security between the Chancellery of the Prime Minister of Moldova and Poland.

By working together with the disability community and their families, the government has proposed new measures to support this group. We want to introduce a support benefit for people with disabilities, regardless of age and income. This is up to PLN 3,176.88 for those who struggle with functioning independently the most. Carers of people with disabilities will be able to earn extra income on top of the attendance benefit. In 2023, we plan to allocate PLN 40.5 billion to support people with disabilities. This is over 2.5 times more than our predecessors in 2015. The new solutions join the systemic support already in place, including attendance benefits, carers’ allowances or remuneration subsidies.

Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki visited the Rosomak S.A. plant in Siemianowice Śląskie. During his visit, he spoke of the difficult times we are facing. Ukraine has been fighting for over a year for its freedom, but also for ours – the freedom of Poland and the entire European Union. Security and military development are crucial. We are allocating record funds for armaments – up to 4% of GDP. Poland has factories producing military equipment that is modern and meets the highest standards. The head of government has announced that we will sell 100 of our Rosomak combat vehicles to Ukraine.

Intergovernmental consultations were held in Bucharest under the chairmanship of Polish and Romanian Prime Ministers Mateusz Morawiecki and Nicolae Ciucă. The main topics were: bilateral cooperation, security issues, the issue of grain price stabilisation mechanisms and preparations for the NATO summit. During the bilateral consultations Russia's aggression against Ukraine and the economic consequences of the war were also discussed. The leaders of Poland and Romania signed bilateral documents that will further strengthen our cooperation. The head of the Polish government also met with the President of Romania Klaus Iohannis and took part in the opening of the Romanian-Polish Business Forum.

Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki met with European Commissioner for Internal Market Thierry Breton in Nowa Dęba. The meeting focused on the joint purchase of ammunition by EU countries and on increasing the production capacity of the Polish arms industry. The two topics were raised by the head of the Polish government at the European Council meeting. Poland will receive the most funds from the European Peace Facility (EPF) for the purchase of ammunition and military equipment. A strengthened arms industry, larger stocks of ammunition and modern equipment will directly strengthen Poland's defence potential.

Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki attended the March European Council in Brussels. The Polish PM discussed with European leaders issues related to the war in Ukraine, potential improvements in the European single market and migration, which affects EU countries to varying degrees. Topics related to Russian aggression against Ukraine remain key and form the most important part of the talks. The abduction of Ukrainian children by the Russian Federation, the extension of sanctions against Belarus and the European Peace Facility were discussed.

Almost a year has passed since Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki met Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida in Brussels. The topic of discussion at the time was Russia's aggression against Ukraine. Today, the leaders of the countries met again. They continued on the topic of the current situation in Ukraine and the multifaceted support for the country in its fight against the Russian aggressor. The visit of the Japanese Prime Minister was also an opportunity to discuss the prospects for the development of Polish-Japanese cooperation, in particular in terms of the economy and investments.
