12.11.2022Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki: today, after a long journey, our Presidents in Exile are returning to Polish soilThe Head of the Polish Government has participated in the procedures necessary for bringing home the remains of the Presidents of the Republic of Poland in Exile: Władysław Raczkiewicz, August Zaleski and Stanisław Ostrowski. The three presidents were buried in the newly created Mausoleum of the Presidents of the Republic of Poland in Exile in Warsaw. It is a celebration of Poland regaining its independence. A Prime Minister whose role is to replace presidents in exile who would be able to replace all ordinary Poles.

11.11.2022National Independence Day – Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki attended official celebrationsOn the National Independence Day, the Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki laid flowers under the monument of Fathers of Independence, participated in Ceremonial Change of Guards and in the ceremony of laying wreaths at the Tomb of Unknown Soldier. The Head of the Government also laid wreath from the Nation at the Marshal Józef Pilsudski monument. The ceremonies paid tribute to our ancestors who fought for the independence of our Homeland. Independent and free Poland should be the highest value for each of us - we must care for our freedom and cherish the memory of those who were ready to give up everything for it. At the same time, let us enjoy the fact that we are Poles and let us not be ashamed to say what we love our Homeland for.

This is the stage of preparation and arrangements ahead of the informal meeting of EU heads of state and government, scheduled for early October. Topics of discussion included the increase in energy prices in the EU, the situation in Ukraine in the context of Russia's actions, and economic issues. Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki also addressed works on the 8th package of sanctions against Russia.

The Head of the Polish Government also stressed that nowadays it is important to counter all Russian propaganda that fuels internal conflicts.

The ceremonial opening was made by Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki together with the Marshal of the Sejm Elżbieta Witek and the Minister of Infrastructure Andrzej Adamczyk. The Wałbrzych bypass was an investment that had long been awaited by the residents of the city and the surrounding area and also by drivers. Putting such an important road into operation will improve the flow of local traffic and relieve towns and cities of transit traffic. The newly opened bypass also makes the area more attractive to investors.

28.10.2022 JaworPrime Minister in Jawor: investments in this difficult time are the driving force behind exiting the crisisIn September 2015, the Government, the local council of Jawor County, the Economic Zone and the Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency created an agreement for the Lower Silesian Economic Activity Zone S3 Jawor (DSAG S3 Jawor). In October 2022, Jawor received over PLN 97 million of non-returnable funding as part of the fifth edition of the Government Strategic Investment Programme for the development of industrial zones. Additional funds, provided by the Government, will enable intitiatives including the construction and modernisation of road infrastructure.
