Poland in Tanzania

On 17 November 2025 we hosted a screening of the Polish film "Gods,” commemorating the 40th anniversary of Prof. Zbigniew Religa's groundbreaking achievement - the first successful heart transplant in Poland.

We visited the Kilombero Valley, Tanzania, to monitor a project implemented in partnership with the Southern Tanzania Elephant Project (STEP), aimed at strengthening local entrepreneurship and promoting environmental education in the region.

The AgriInnovate Tanzania project, funded through Polish aid, was aimed at promoting an innovative approach to agriculture and agribusiness development among young Tanzanians.

Last weekend, the Head of Mission, Mr. Sergiusz Wolski, visited Kiabakari, where several projects under Polish Aid have recently been completed. These initiatives focus on improving healthcare services and protecting women's rights in northern Tanzania.

Chargé d'affaires a.i. Sergiusz Wolski met with representatives of the Africa Help Foundation and leading medical experts to discuss cooperation on the Maternity Home in Ndotoi, focusing on laboratory diagnostics, maternal care, and tropical disease education.

On September 20, 2025, the Embassy of Poland team joined the global World Cleanup Day initiative by volunteering to clean up Coco Beach.
