10.04.2025 ThessalonikiPoland tastes good in Greece – FRESKON International Fruit and Vegetable Fair“Poland is an important producer of fruit and vegetables not only in the EU, but also globally,” said Secretary of State Michał Kołodziejczak during the official opening ceremony of the FRESKON International Fruit and Vegetable Fair in Thessaloniki, Greece, on 10 April 2025. The Deputy Minister also inaugurated the Polish national stand at the fair, where he spoke with Polish fruit and vegetable suppliers about the current situation in the sector.

10.04.2025 WarsawPolish-Turkish TalksToday, Secretary of State Stefan Krajewski met with a delegation from the Turkey-Poland Friendship Group of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, led by Ferhat Nasıroğlu, to discuss opportunities for strengthening Polish-Turkish cooperation in the field of agriculture. The delegation was accompanied by H.E. Rauf Alp Denktaş, Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Poland. The meeting was also attended by representatives of the Chief Veterinary Inspectorate (GIW) and the National Support Centre for Agriculture (KRUS).

The discussions focused on the development of Polish-Moldovan cooperation in the agricultural sector, with particular emphasis on expert support for Moldova and mutual trade in agri-food products. This was the first visit to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development by the newly appointed Ambassador, who began her diplomatic mission in Poland earlier this year.

On 17 March 2025, the Undersecretary of State Adam Nowak, together with the Deputy Director General of the National Support Centre for Agriculture (KOWR) Tomasz Ciodyk and the representative of the Polish Embassy in London opened the Polish national stand, where 30 Polish companies from various food industries presented their offer.

14.03.2025 WarsawOn the importance of constructive cooperation between Poland and Ukraine in agricultural mattersDuring the 10th meeting of the Polish-Ukrainian Intergovernmental Commission for Economic Cooperation, the Undersecretary of State Adam Nowak stressed that cooperation between Poland and Ukraine should be constructive and bring mutual benefits. In this context, he pointed to the need to balance bilateral trade in agri-food goods. Deputy Minister Nowak was accompanied by the Deputy Chief Veterinary Officer Jakub Kubacki and the President of the National Council of Agricultural Chambers Wiktor Szmulewicz. On the part of Ukraine, the Ministry of Agriculture was represented by Taras Vysotsky, the first Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
