On 8-11 December, Robert Kupiecki, undersecretary of state at the MFA and national security advisor to the prime minister, visited Washington, D.C. His agenda included attending the Aspen Security Forum as well as holding several meetings with members of the US administration.

MFA Secretary of State Ignacy Niemczycki opened today a conference, held in Warsaw, to mark the 20th anniversary of Bruegel, a think tank, titled "Can policy survive politics?”. The event focused on the European Union's security and competitiveness.

Security topped the agenda of a discussion Deputy Prime Minister Radosław Sikorski had with the Council of the Baltic Sea States (CBSS) foreign ministers. 1,500 programmers took part in the Polish HackNation 2025 coding marathon in Bydgoszcz. Deputy Prime Minister Radosław Sikorski awarded the winners of the MFA-designed challenge.

Poland's top diplomat took part in the first session of the Ministerial Council of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe held in Vienna on 4 December.

The top diplomats of Poland, Norway, and Germany announced today a joint donation of USD 500 million to the Prioritised Ukraine Requirements List (PURL). Under the initiative, NATO members provide military aid to Ukraine.

The meeting of NATO member states' top diplomats in Brussels on 2 December focused on strengthening the Alliance's collective defence and on responding to Russia's war against Ukraine.
