The National Institute of Telecommunications, Optical Communications Group in Warsaw, Poland, together with the Institute of Photonics and Electronics, Czech Academy of Sciences, and the IEEE Photonics Society Poland Chapter are pleased to announce the 26th International Conference on Transparent Optical Networks ICTON 2026 in Prague, Czech Republic, July 12-16, 2026. Technical co-sponsorship by the IEEE Photonics Society is foreseen.
Being the capital of Czech Republic, Prague is filled with historical sites and cultural events. Prague is one of the most attractive cities in Europe, with a number of interesting sites to visit. Prague is easily reachable by plane, Václav Havel Airport Prague is just around the corner!
ICTON 2026 will be held as an in-person-only meeting.

Authors are cordially invited to submit their contributions preferably in the traditional ICTON style, or alternatively in the standard IEEE conference style (recommended length four A4 pages in editable MS Word or LaTeX file accompanied by a PDF version) for Regular and Poster Sessions to marian.marciniak@ieee.org by March 31, 2026.
The authors will be notified on the acceptance by April 30, 2026. Post-deadline papers with hot results may be submitted till June 1, 2026.
The full camera-ready IEEE-Xplore compliant papers will be requested also by June 1, 2026.
Students, PhD students and young scientists are especially encouraged to contribute and/or to participate.
