From November 4–6, 2024, the International Common Criteria Conference 2024 (ICCC’24) took place in Qatar with the participation of representatives from the National Institute of Telecommunications. The conference serves as a leading forum for professionals involved in the international cybersecurity standard, Common Criteria (CC).

On October 18, 2024, a contract was signed for the implementation of the "Real-Time GNSS Signal Monitoring System in Poland (RTGMS)" project, funded by the European Space Agency (ESA). The National Institute of Telecommunications is the lead organization of the consortium carrying out the project.

The Journal of Telecommunications and Information Technology (JTIT), published by the National Institute of Telecommunications, has released its second issue of the year.

Professor Józef Lubacz, Ph.D., D.Sc., Eng., has been named the first recipient of the Science Award from the National Institute of Telecommunications. The award statue was presented on June 10, 2024, during the 2nd "Science for Society" Congress in Warsaw.

On July 27, 2023 The National Institute of Telecommunications has obtained an industrial security certificate.

Dr. Eng. Paweł Pławiak, Deputy Director of the Institute of Communications - PIB (Poznan University of Technology), responsible for scientific affairs, took part in a debate on the challenges facing Polish ophthalmology. The expert discussion was organized by "Puls Medycyny" (Pulse of Medicine) magazine.

The first presentation of the e-Konsylium (e-Consultation), a telemedical consultation platform developed by the National Institute of Telecommunications, took place in Wrocław. In the future, the system will enable patients to access the best specialist doctors regardless of their place of residence.

The Chancellery of the Prime Minister of Poland has published a summary of activities undertaken over the last two years in the field of digital affairs. There was a place for two important initiatives carried out with the involvement of the National Institute of Telecommunications.
