EU Commissioner for agriculture visits the Polish national stand in Thailand

At the THAIFEX - Anuga Asia 2026 trade fair in Bangkok, Christophe Hansen, European Commissioner for Agriculture and Food, visited the Polish national stand, Poland Tastes Good, organised by the National Support Centre for Agriculture. He was accompanied by Dr. Wisit Limluecha, Deputy Chairman of the Thai Chamber of Commerce and the Board of Trade of Thailand.
The visit was an opportunity to showcase the diversity and abundance of the offers prepared by Polish companies exhibiting in Bangkok, and to highlight the quality, uniqueness, and potential of Polish agri-food products in international markets. The presence of representatives of EU institutions was an important element of the promotion of Polish food at one of the most important food and beverage industry events in Asia.
A essential element of the meeting was the tasting of Polish delicacies, including sweets prepared by Polish producers present at the fair. Furthermore, representatives of the European Union and the Kingdom of Thailand had the pleasure to try a traditional Polish apple pie baked by Polish chefs, who at the fair introduce guests from all over the world to Polish culinary tradition.
