Export Support Department
The Export Support Department carries out activities related to the development of trade cooperation of the agri-food sector with foreign countries, referred to in Art. 9 sec. 2 item 17 of the Act of 10th February 2017 on the National Support Centre for Agriculture, including the promotion of Polish agricultural and food products. These activities are carried out through the organisation of national stands at foreign agri-food trade fairs and exhibitions, incoming and outgoing trade missions, as well as webinars and training for Polish entrepreneurs interested in expanding to foreign markets and incoming missions of foreign journalists and bloggers. The Department runs the portal www.polandtastesgood.pl, informing foreign contractors about the Polish export offer and about the information and promotional activities of the KOWR, carried out under the slogan “Poland tastes good”. The Department is also responsible for managing the Common Agricultural Policy mechanism “Support for promotional and information activities on the markets of selected agricultural products”, delegated from the Agency for Restructuring and Modernisation of Agriculture, within which simple promotional programmes are implemented, both on the European Union market and on third country markets, co-financed from EU funds. The Department also conducts international cooperation at the institutional level and is responsible for organising visits of foreign delegations to KOWR, as well as for coordinating the preparation of contributions and positions related to the participation of institutions in the work of inter-ministerial teams and commissions for international cooperation and in the work of EU preparatory bodies.
