From April 14 to 16, 2025, the National Support Centre for Agriculture (KOWR) had the honor of hosting representatives of the Asian trade sector, who visited Poland to establish business relationships with Polish food and beverage producers.

During the B2B matchmaking sessions held on April 14 and 16 at the Mercure Warszawa Centrum Hotel, eight importers from the Philippines, Malaysia, and Uzbekistan had the opportunity to connect with over 50 Polish companies representing a wide range of food products. Polish entrepreneurs presented, among other things: dairy products, meat products, sweets, fruit and vegetable preserves, teas, pasta, organic and gluten-free foods, and ready-to-eat meals. All of the products generated significant interest among potential Asian trading partners.

On April 15, 2025, guests from Asia visited two large production facilities in the Podlasie region: the MLEKOVITA Dairy Cooperative and SOKOŁÓW S.A. These visits allowed them to gain firsthand insight into the modern production processes and quality standards that set Polish food companies apart from their international competitors.

The mission was organized by KOWR in cooperation with the Ministry of Economic Development and Technology as part of a program to promote the food sector—a non-competitive project titled “Internationalization of SMEs—BRAND HUB,” Measure 2.26 under “European Funds for a Modern Economy 2021–2027” (FENG).
