KOWR at TUTTOFOOD Trade Show in Milan for the Second Time
05.05.2025
On May 5, 2025, the TUTTOFOOD trade show kicked off in Milan. Held every two years, it is the largest trade show in the food and beverage industry in Italy and Southern Europe, where KOWR is organizing a national stand for the second time.
In 2023, eight entrepreneurs exhibited alongside KOWR. At this year’s edition, 22 companies will be presenting their products under the “Poland Tastes Good” banner. Two years ago, the Milan's trade show attracted over 83,000 visitors, and exhibitors represented 132 countries. TUTTOFOOD also attracts significant interest from Polish entrepreneurs, as evidenced by the nearly triple increase in the number of exhibitors at the KOWR’s stand compared to the previous edition.
This year, at a trade show in the capital of Lombardy and Italy’s business hub, Polish food and beverage producers and exporters are promoting, among other things: milk and dairy products, frozen fruits and vegetables, freeze-dried fruits, chocolates, cookies and other sweets, instant coffee and grain-based beverages, fruit and energy drinks, pasta, gluten-free products, meat products, and ready-to-eat meals.
Italy is our fourth-largest market for agri-food products in the European Union, right behind Germany, France, and the Netherlands. In 2024, sales of these products to Italy reached 2.6 billion EUR. The most common imports from Poland to the Apennine Peninsula were: meat, mainly beef (25%); tobacco and tobacco products (17%); fish and fish products (10%); grain and flour products (6%); dairy products, mainly cheese and cottage cheese (6%); vegetables and processed vegetables, including mushrooms (4%), confectionery (4%), and animal feed (4%).
