10.06.2025

From June 10-13, 2025, the latest edition of the Seoul Food & Hotel took place-one of the most important trade shows in the food industry in South Korea and Asia. The National Support Centre for Agriculture has been participating in this event since 2018, and during this year's edition, it organized a national stand where 21 companies had the opportunity to present their products.

Polish companies presented a wide range of Polish food and beverages to business partners from Korea and other Asian countries. Under the banner “Poland tastes good”, KOWR stand promoted, among other things: sweets (pralines, gummy candies, fudge, cookies, chocolate-covered plums, candy bars), milk and dairy products, NFC and organic juices, smoothies, functional beverages, ciders, apple snacks, grain-based, chicory-based, and herb-based beverages, caviar and fish products, pork, cured meats, and pork products, spices, herbs, and seeds, groats, flours, ready-to-eat meals, and semi-finished products for the food industry.

The grand opening of the national stand was attended by Bogusław Wijatyk, Director General at the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development; Lucjan Zwolak, KOWR Deputy Director General; and Paweł Meyer, Deputy Chief Veterinary Officer.

Polish elements were also prominently featured at several other stands at the Seoul trade fair. Industry organizations and the businesses they represent promoted food products on the Korean market at stands set up as part of the Common Agricultural Policy program “Support for Promotional and Information Activities in Markets for Selected Agricultural Products”:

  • “A Drop of Excellence: High-Quality European Milk and Dairy Products”—a three-year program implemented by the Polish Federation of Cattle Breeders and Milk Producers starting in April 2025 in the South Korean and Vietnamese markets, promoting milk and dairy products, including cheese;

  • “European Poultry—From Our Farms to Your Table”—a three-year program implemented by the National Poultry Council—Chamber of Commerce starting in February 2025 in the markets of the Philippines, South Korea, and Vietnam, promoting poultry meat (fresh, chilled, and frozen) and poultry products;

  • “EU Good Food – Good Life” – a three-year program implemented by the Union of Meat Industry Producers and Employers in collaboration with Greek producers, starting in March 2025, in the markets of the Philippines, South Korea, and Vietnam, promoting pork, beef, canned peaches, and fresh kiwis.

In addition, Polish food products were promoted at the stand of the Polish Chamber of Milk and its members as part of activities funded by the Milk Promotion Fund, as well as at the stands of individual businesses.
