This year's edition of the BIOFACH organic trade fair takes place at the international Nürnberg Messe exhibition centre. The event began on 10th February and will last until 13th February 2026. KOWR, and KOWR hosts the national stand as it has done every year since 2018.
as it has done every year since 2018.
At the Polish stand, 17 companies from the organic food and beverage industry promote a large variety of their products. Clients and visitors can explore a wide range of organic products, including fresh apples, frozen fruit and vegetables, freeze-dried fruit and vegetable snacks, juices and beverages, gluten-free products, processed grains, bakery products, honey, and herbs.
The national stand also hosts culinary demonstrations organised by the Polish Association of Organic Product Processors and Producers “Polska Ekologia”. BIOFACH, a trade fair held since 1990, enjoys widespread popularity among Polish producers and is the world’s largest event bringing together organic food and cosmetics producers. The fair plays many roles in this dynamic industry: promotion of new products, knowhow and experience exchange, vast networking possibilities, image building of organic products.
This year’s BIOFACH is attended by over 2,200 exhibitors, and the organisers expect approximately 35,000 visitors. In addition to the national stand organised by KOWR (National Support Centre for Agriculture) where Polish organic products are promoted under the “Poland tastes good” banner, translated into German as “Polen schmeckt”, certified food and beverages from Poland are displayed by individual Polish exhibitors and the “Polska Ekologia” Association.
