Poland Tastes Good at Vietfood & Beverage 2026

06.08.2026

For almost a decade, the National Support Center for Agriculture (KOWR) has been facilitating Polish food companies' entry into the Vietnamese market. From August 6-8, 2026, the KOWR will be exhibiting for the ninth time alongside Polish entrepreneurs at the Vietfood & Beverage 2026 in Ho Chi Minh City - one of the most important food industry exhibitions in Vietnam and Southeast Asia.

Poland Tastes Good at Vietfood & Beverage

The Polish national stand at the Vietfood & Beverage in Ho Chi Minh City has been organized by KOWR since 2016. This year's edition of the trade fair, under the banner "Poland tastes good," features 15 entrepreneurs. Polish producers and exporters encourage Vietnamese customers to explore products such as turkey and chicken meat and poultry products, kabanosy sausages and hot dogs, dairy products, freeze-dried fruit, dietary supplements, juices and other organic products, cereal wafers, savory snacks, cookies, fudge and other sweets, nut spreads, and ready-made meals.

During the three days of the fair, our food and cuisine are being promoted at the stand, including during cooking demonstrations led by Polish chefs.

The stand was officially opened on August 6th by Henryk Smolarz, Director General of the KOWR (National Support Center for the Promotion of Agriculture and Rural Development), Joanna Skoczek, Chargée d'affaires of the Polish Embassy in Vietnam, Paweł Meyer, Chief Veterinary Officer, Piotr Harasimowicz, Head of the PAIH Foreign Trade Office in Ho Chi Minh City, and Piotr Wojtysiak, Deputy Marshal of the Łódź Voivodeship.

Pre-trade fair mission programme

As every year, the KOWR provided companies with an additional program on the day preceding the trade fair, allowing them to familiarize themselves with the offerings of local retail chains. On August 5, 2026, entrepreneurs participated in visits to three local retail chains offering imported products (Winmart, Tops Market, MM Mega Market), combined with meetings with representatives of these chains. The visits were organized in cooperation with the Foreign Trade Office of the Polish Investment and Trade Agency in Ho Chi Minh City.

Strong Polish presence at Vietfood & Beverage 2026

In addition to the national stand "Poland tastes good" organized by the KOWR, Polish producers and food products are also being promoted at the stand of the Marshal's Office of the Łódź Voivodeship as part of the "Direction Asia" project.

In addition, industry organizations are promoting food on the Vietnamese market at stands as part of the CAP program "Support for promotional and information activities in the markets of selected agricultural products":

  • "Taste of Europe" – a three-year program implemented by the Association of Butchers and Meat Producers of the Republic of Poland in consortium with the National Union of Fruit and Vegetable Producer Groups, running from 2024 to 2026 in the markets of Japan, Singapore, and Vietnam, promoting pork and beef, as well as apples and their products;
  • "A Drop of Excellence. High-Quality European Milk and Dairy Products" – a three-year program implemented by the Polish Federation of Cattle Breeders and Dairy Farmers from April 2025 in the markets of South Korea and Vietnam, promoting milk and dairy products, including cheese.

Vietfood & Beverage Fair

The Vietfood & Beverage Fair, now in its 30th year in Ho Chi Minh City, is one of the largest food industry exhibitions in Vietnam. The Propack Vietnam fair is held concurrently with the food and beverage fair.

During last year's edition, organizers noted 1,000 exhibitors from 20 countries. The Polish national stand has been one of the largest and most visible for almost a decade.

Agri-food exports from Poland to Vietnam

In 2025, agri-food exports from Poland to Vietnam amounted to €230 million (compared to €193 million in 2024), with potential for further growth. Animal products dominate Polish exports to Vietnam.

Vietnam has been a key partner for Poland in the agri-food trade among the countries of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) for years. This is a promising export market for Polish food, which is also reflected in trade data.
