Poland Tastes Good at Food & Hospitality Asia 2026 in Singapore
22.04.2026
The National Support Centre for Agriculture actively promotes Polish food and helps Polish exporters enter the Singaporean market. For the fifth time, KOWR is organizing a Polish national stand under the banner "Poland Tastes Good” at Food & Hospitality Asia (FHA), taking place April 21-24, 2026, in Singapore.
Promotion of Polish food
Fourteen Polish companies from the argi-food sector are promoting their portfolio at the Polish national stand during this year’s FHA in Singapore. Among the featured products are: NFC juices, freeze-dried fruits and vegetables, dried vegetables, grains and nuts, sweets (pralines, chocolates, cookies, fudge, candy bars, gummy candies, hard candies, and meringues), dairy products (UHT milk and cream, milk powders, butter, lactose-free dairy products), kabanos sausages and dry sausages, frozen ready-to-eat meals, vodkas, liqueurs, and other alcoholic beverages. The KOWR booth also hosts cooking workshops, during which trade fair visitors can sample traditional Polish dishes.
Business meetings
As part of accompanying activities for Poland’s participation in the trade fair in Singapore, a networking session for entrepreneurs was organized on April 20. The meeting was attended by delegations from Central and Eastern European countries, including Poland, as well as potential importers from Singapore. The event was organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Poland and the PAIH Foreign Trade Agency in Singapore.
In addition, a store check was conducted at local retail chains that sell imported food.
Opening ceremony
The grand opening of the stand on April 21, 2026, was inaugurated by Małgorzata Gromadzka, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development; Tadeusz Chomicki, Polish Ambassador to Singapore; and Tomasz Ciodyk, KOWR Deputy Director General.
Singapore – the gateway to the Southeast Asian market
The FHA trade show is one of the largest and most important food trade shows in Southeast Asia. Singapore is an attractive market for Polish food exports, with significant import potential, as—in addition to domestic demand—Singapore also serves as a re-export hub for the Southeast Asian region. In 2026, the trade show organizers expect more than 2,750 exhibitors and over 80,000 visitors from 115 countries and regions.
Growing Trust in Polish Food
The positive experiences of Singaporeans during the COVID-19 pandemic helped build trust in Poland as a stable trading partner. Six years ago, the Singaporean government announced a plan to diversify its sources of agricultural and food products, a move from which Poland has benefited. At that time, there was demand for products such as eggs—of which Singapore is a major consumer—and frozen foods (vegetables, poultry, and seafood). In 2024, the Singaporean market opened up to Polish beef, creating new expansion opportunities in the animal produce segment. Compared to 2024, the share of dairy products in exports to Singapore has increased.
