Polish-Danish Exchange of Experiences on the Program for Schools

On June 13, 2025, a meeting was held at the headquarters of the Agriculture Restructurisation and Modernisation Agency, attended by guests from the Danish Dairy Board. The topic was an international exchange of experiences related to the EU School Program, which is implemented by the National Support Centre for Agriculture. In addition to the hosts, the meeting was attended by representatives of the National Support Centre for Agriculture from the Department of Consumption Support and the Internal Audit Office, from the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, as well as the principal of Elementary School No. 63 in Warsaw.
The guests from Denmark were particularly interested in the implementation of the dairy component of the program in Poland, including the program’s national characteristics and the solutions introduced that have made it possible to successfully promote healthy diets in schools for many years.
During the KOWR's presentation, many important aspects related to the program’s implementation were discussed, ranging from the organization of product deliveries to educational activities, marketing, and program evaluation.
The meeting was an excellent opportunity to share best practices and engage in a lively discussion on promoting a healthy diet rich in dairy products, fruits, and vegetables among children.
