Since 2015, when we started the dignity revolution, the minimum wage has more than doubled and the average remuneration has increased by 90 per cent. Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki announced that the lowest wage will increase in two stages in 2024. From 1 January, the minimum wage will be PLN 4,242 and it will amount to PLN 4,300 from 1 July.

Thanks to the successful fight against the VAT mafias, despite the global crises, we can announce a stable budget for unstable times. The Council of Ministers has provisionally adopted the draft budget act for 2024. A safe budget means solutions that will strengthen our security, including more funding for the army. It also means the continued provision of social programmes – such as “Family 800+” or the 13th and 14th pensions – which directly support millions of Polish women and men. A safe budget also means funds for health care and numerous investments that make citizens' lives more comfortable.

20.08.2023 ParadyżDeputy Prime Minister Jarosław Kaczyński: 14th pension this year will amount to 2,200 PLNDeputy Prime Minister Jarosław Kaczyński attended the Harvest festival of Łódź Province in Paradyż, where he announced the amount of the 14th pension. In 2023, seniors will receive a 14th pension of PLN 2,200. The additional funds will be granted to around 8.3 million pensioners. By government decision, as of 2023, the 14th pension is a permanent benefit and will be paid every year.

Seniors, in a special way, can count on the government's support. We make sure that they experience their autumn years, after years of work, with dignity. In April, the 13th pension came to seniors. In May, the Council of Ministers adopted a bill that introduced the 14th pension as a benefit payable every year. In July, the law was signed by the President. Elderly people can also benefit from government programmes such as, among others, Senior+ and Medicines75+. Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki met with senior citizens in the village of Waplewo Wielkie.

18.08.2023 KatowicePrime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki at the new building of the hospital of the Ministry of the Interior and Administration in Katowice: within a few weeks this hospital will be receiving patients and will be a showpiece for the whole of SilesiaThe health of Poles is one of the government's priorities. We are not only taking care of infrastructure and modern equipment at facilities - we are improving the entire treatment system. We have purchased new premises for the Independent Public Health Care Centre of the Ministry of the Interior and Administration in Katowice. Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki attended the official handover of the building on ul. Wita Stwosza to the hospital authorities. Patients will be transferred to the new facility at the beginning of October to benefit from modern medical care. In the new facility, the number of beds will increase from 120 to 266.
