25.09.2022Farmers provide our country with food security, and their hard work contributes to the development of Poland. It is the duty of the state to provide farmers with economic and legal security, especially now when we are facing inflation caused by the Russian aggression in Ukraine. The 5th National Festival of Gratitude to the Polish Village was held in Ostrów Mazowiecka. Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki is the initiator of the event that is organized since 2018. The Prime Minister met with farmers, participated in the solemn Holy Mass and presented medals of the 100th anniversary of Regaining Independence to the Rural Housewives' Clubs.

24.09.2022Time of peace and safety in Europe has come to an end this year, on 24 February with cruel Russian attack on Ukraine. In the shadow of Russian aggression, the expansion and modernization of the Polish army is one of the priorities of the government’s actions. That is why we have significantly accelerated the increase in military expenditures - next year it will be 3% of GDP. This means nearly PLN 98 billion, which will be allocated to the development of the Polish army. Additionally, we will allocate PLN 30-40 billion for arms procurement. Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki visited PZL-Świdnik - company that manufactured and delivered over 7,400 helicopters to customers in over 40 countries worldwide.

21.09.2022The Head of the Polish Government Mateusz Morawiecki has observed the Niedźwiedź-22 military exercise at the training ground in Nowa Dęba. These are tanker maneuvers, involving the participation of Polish, British and American troops, which are organised as part of cooperation within the North Atlantic Alliance. We are constantly modernising the Polish army: for this purpose, next year we will allocate around PLN 98 billion from the state budget. We are also consistently strengthening the ranks of our army – today we have about 140,000 soldiers.

18.09.2022 SzczawaThe bridge in Szczawa had previously been damaged several times by the rough river. Thanks to funds from the state budget, a sustained investment has been made that improves the quality of life for local residents. It is also further evidence of effective cooperation between the state and local self-government. The bridge will bear the name of Józef Leśniak, deputy voivode of Lesser Poland. The head of the Polish government participated in the naming ceremony.

18.09.2022 SufczynThe head of the Polish government visited the newly opened pre-kindergarten and kindergarten in Sufczyn. The investment has been made possible thanks to funds from the state budget, including the Maluch+ programme. This type of solution supports parents - allowing them to integrate their professional roles with taking care of their children. The Prime Minister highlighted the importance of investments that meet the needs of local communities.

17.09.2022The opening of the shipping channel through the Vistula Spit is the end of our country's dependence on Russia. The Ditch of the Vistula Spit enables free, all year-round navigation of sea vessels to the ports of Elbląg, Frombork or Tolkmicko. For the first time in the post-war history of Poland, you are free to cross the Vistula Lagoon without having to pass through Russian territorial waters. This investment will increase transport safety in Poland. It will also create thousands of new jobs and give impetus to the development of tourism.

The Polish national team ranked second, but still remains in first place in the international FIVB volleyball player ranking of 2022. Our country, along with Slovenia, co-hosted this year's Men's Volleyball Championship.
