The South African Institute of International Affairs (SAIIA) hosted a lecture by Professor Adam Burakowski, Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to the Republic of South Africa on “Poland in a Globalising World”.

On the occasion of the 550th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding Polish astronomer, Nicolaus Copernicus, the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Pretoria, in cooperation with Pretoria Boys High, organized on August 18, 2023 in Pretoria a special lecture on his life, legacy, and achievements of contemporary Polish scientists, as well as a significant Polish contribution to the construction and operation of the South African SALT telescope in Sutherland, South Africa.
