Scholarships for the Polish diaspora are addressed to foreigners of Polish origin. They enable young people of Polish origin and holders of the Card of the Pole (Karta Polaka) to study in Poland (full-time programmes, in the Polish language) in higher education institutions supervised by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.

The Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) is pleased to announce the third edition of the programme for post-doctoral incoming researchers: The Ulam NAWA Programme. The programme will allow both recognised and promising scientists who hold at least a doctoral degree, to visit Poland in order to strengthen the scientific potential of Polish entities and to participate in their scientific activities, primarily research projects and didactics.

The Institute of National Remembrance (IPN) hereby announces the 7th edition of the international “Witness of History” award. This is an honorary distinction established in March 2009 by the IPN's President. It is granted to individuals and organisations in recognition of their outstanding contribution to commemorating the history of the Polish Nation and supporting the IPN in its statutory activities in the field of research and education.
