Complaints and requests

A complaint may especially relate to: negligence or improper performance of tasks by the Chief Pharmaceutical Inspector, a voivodeship pharmaceutical inspector, or an employee of the Chief Pharmaceutical Inspectorate; a violation of the law or the interest of the complaining parties; matters handled in a protracted or bureaucratic manner.
A request may especially relate to: improving organisation; reinforcing law and order; streamlining work and preventing abuse; protecting property; and better satisfying population needs.
Please be informed that the applicable law does not allow filing complaints and requests by telephone.


Complaints and requests can be filed in the following manner:

  • within the working hours of the Mailroom of the Chief Pharmaceutical Inspectorate – Warszawa ul. Senatorska 12 room no. 28;
  • by mail to the address: Główny Inspektorat Farmaceutyczny, ul. Senatorska 12, 00-082 Warszawa with the note “Skarga/wniosek” (Complaint/request);
  • by means of the Electronic Inbox (ePUAP);
  • via electronic mail to the e-mail address: gif@gif.gov.pl
  • verbally for the record: at specified hours:
    • from Monday to Friday between 8:15 am and 4:15 pm, directly to designated employees of the Legal Department or the Office of Director General, with the possibility of making an appointment by telephone beforehand;
    • on every Monday between 4:15 pm and 5:15 pm during the duty of the Chief Pharmaceutical Inspector – ul. Senatorska 12, 00-082 Warszawa.

Complaints and requests without the name and surname (company name) and the address of the person filing the complaint/request are left unexamined.
If the complaint or request makes it impossible to determine its subject matter, the Office calls for the person filing the complaint or request to submit – within seven days of receiving the call – an explanation or further information, and informs that a failure to remedy the said defects will cause the complaint or the request to be left unexamined.
