Pharma Supply 2025 - About the Challenges of Good Distribution Practice

Marcin Rynkiewicz, Director of the Inspection Department at the Chief Pharmaceutical Inspectorate, took part in a panel discussion on cooperation with national inspectors overseeing Good Distribution Practice (GDP).

The conference focused on two key areas: strengthening system resilience through preparedness measures – including stockpiling and cybersecurity – and shaping future Good Distribution Practice (GDP) regulations and their role in achieving broader public health protection goals.
These topics were discussed in the context of the experiences of Ukraine, Spain, Switzerland, and Poland.

The organizers emphasized that, despite the challenges facing Europe, it is deeply inspiring to see all responsible stakeholders joining forces to address them together.

GIRP brings together distributors providing a full range of healthcare services across Europe. It represents more than 750 pharmaceutical wholesalers in 33 countries, as well as the largest international companies involved in the distribution of healthcare products.
