Whistleblowers – Receipt of external reports
Pursuant to the Act on the Protection of Whistleblowers, the Chief Pharmaceutical Inspectorate performs its duties regarding the acceptance of external reports.
External reporting is a procedure enabling the submission of information on breaches of law to institutions that are not part of the organizational structure of the legal entity
in which the natural person making the report, in a work-related context, is or was:
- an employee;
- a candidate for employment/service who obtained information on a breach of law during the recruitment process or negotiations preceding the conclusion of a contract;
- a person performing work on a basis other than an employment relationship, including on the basis of a civil law contract;
- an entrepreneur performing services;
- a person performing work under the supervision and direction of a contractor, subcontractor, or supplier, including on the basis of a civil law contract;
- a trainee, intern, or volunteer;
- a uniformed service officer or a soldier.
The possibility of making an external report is particularly important when internal reporting is ineffective or when there is a risk of retaliation or other negative consequences.
External reports are accepted by the Commissioner for Human Rights or a public authority.
External reports may be made:
By e-mail to: sygnalista@gif.gov.pl;
By telephone – at (22) 44 10 742 – the Designated Officer for Reports shall draw up minutes of the conversation;
In writing – in a sealed envelope delivered to the Designated Officer for Reports.
