20.11.2025On 18 November 2025, the Government Work Planning Team approved a draft bill amending the Act on Renewable Energy Sources and certain other acts (UD332). The draft primarily contains solutions intended to introduce a support system for biomethane. The amendment also includes mechanisms focused on accelerating investment processes in wind energy and numerous changes to the Act on Renewable Energy Sources affecting the further development of RES.

'The prepared assumptions provide the possibility of suspending the collection of unsettled advance payments from beneficiaries affected by unreliable companies,' wrote the Minister of Climate and Environment.

17.11.2025Szczecin hosted a meeting organised on the initiative of the Ministry of Climate and Environment, attended by the Minister Paulina Hennig-Kloska, the Voivode of Zachodniopomorskie Voivodship and representatives of municipalities, who expressed their support in resolutions for the creation of the Lower Odra Valley National Park in their area. The event was also attended by the creators of the initiative working towards the establishment of the Park. Local government representatives declared their willingness to continue working on the protection of the Międzyodrze area.

During a press conference held on 12 November 2025, the Ministry of Climate and Environment and the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management summarised the implementation of key programmes supporting the development of charging infrastructure and the purchase of electric vehicles.

07.11.2025The Sejm has adopted a draft bill amending the Environmental Protection Law and certain other acts (deregulation bill) prepared by the Ministry of Climate and Environment. The new regulations will improve e.g., the control of documents confirming recycling by marshal's offices. This will curb the practice of some companies issuing unreliable documents and closing down their operations before inspections are carried out.
