19.09.2025Joint research on critical raw materials and the development of the CCUS technology were the main topics of talks between the Deputy Minister of Climate and Environment, Chief National Geologist, Krzysztof Galos and the Vietnamese government delegation led by Trần Quý Kiên - Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Environment. The meeting which was also attended by Hà Hoàng Hải - Ambassador of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to Poland, was held on 18 September 2025 in Warsaw.

18.09.2025The first section of offshore tower manufactured in Poland was presented at the Baltic Towers factory in Gdańsk. The ceremony was attended by the Minister of Climate and Environment, Paulina Hennig-Kloska, who emphasised that the development of offshore wind energy is an opportunity to accelerate the economic development of the entire region. The Baltic Towers factory project has received support from the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management - a loan of over PLN 291 million originates from the Innovation for the Environment programme.

17.09.2025On 17 September 2025 the Council of Ministers approved two important draft acts prepared by the Ministry of Climate and Environment. The first act provides for the creation of the Lower Oder Valley National Park and the second one relates to the amendments to the Act on the promotion of electricity generation in offshore wind farms.

This topic is regularly raised by the Czech side as part of the implementation of the 2022 agreement.
