    Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski, along with his counterparts from France, Germany, Italy, the UK, and Spain, took part in a Weimar+ format meeting. Also present was EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas and Commissioner for Defence and Space Andrius Kubilius, with Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha of Ukraine as a special guest.

    The Polish–German Prize Committee, appointed by the Polish and German foreign ministers, decided to bestow the Prize on Professor Rita Süssmuth in recognition of the entirety of her work for strengthening Polish–German ties. The prize will be presented on 14 February by the Polish Minister of Foreign Affairs Radosław Sikorski and his German counterpart Annalena Baerbock, on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference.

    On Tadeusz Kościuszko’s birthday, the first Kościuszko Forum took place in the framework of the Polish Presidency of the Council of the European Union with the aim to support the Belarusian people’s democratic aspirations. The Forum was hosted by the European Solidarity Centre, an institution that perpetuates the memory of the 1980 bid for freedom.

    By the Foreign Minister's decision, such projects as construction of a Polish language school in Brazil or of the Polish House in Lviv will be funded under the call for proposals. Thirteen priority projects and nine other projects in total will receive grants.
