23.02.2024European funds for Poland unblockedThe President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, has pledged to unblock European funds for Poland. This means nearly PLN 600 billion from the Cohesion Policy and the National Recovery Plan, which will boost the Polish economy and investments. The funds will help accelerate the green and digital transformation in the economy, increasing energy security for people and businesses, innovation and the use of modern technologies, among other things.

31.01.2024More modern roads in Eastern Poland - nearly PLN 2.4 billion of additional financing from the European FundsThe voivodeships of Eastern Poland – Podkarpackie, Podlaskie, Warmińsko-Mazurskie, Świętokrzyskie and regions of Mazowieckie – will receive PLN 2 billion 379 million for the development of provincial roads from the European Funds for Eastern Poland (EFEP) programme. The purpose of the investment is to improve road connections in the region and better connect the macro-region with the rest of the country and with the European Union.

12.01.2024Deputy Minister Jan Szyszko, at the opening of the Lublin station, was one of the first passengers to test its convenienceLublin's modern railway station is now open to the public. Deputy Minister of Funds and Regional Policy Jan Szyszko attended its opening ceremony today. The investment will connect 16 municipalities; it will be the region's transfer center; it will boost employment, including easy commuting for those in education - Lublin is a university city with 5,000 students from all over the world. The construction of the station was financed by European funds in the amount of over PLN 195 million, which constitutes nearly 2/3 of the total investment value, which amounted to approximately PLN 340 million.
