34th CORNET Call for Proposals OPEN

26.07.2022

34th call for proposals open

The transnational funding network CORNET has opened its 34th Call for Proposals to realise further international research projects for the benefits of small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Submission of project proposals is possible until 28 september 2022, 12 p.m. (CET) via the CORNET Submission Tool.

CORNET combines existing national or regional funding programmes and brings together financial resources from two (or more) countries/regions into one project budget. In the current call, all CORNET partners are on board except the Czech Republic, the Netherlands and Japan. All the information on NCBR polish individual funding conditions are placed at the website: https://www.gov.pl/web/ncbr/inicjatywa-cornet-34-konkurs.

CORNET – international Collective Research with a success rate of 63 %

Applying for funding within the CORNET framework is unbureaucratic and worthwhile! As a well-established international funding network, CORNET accomplishes an average success rate of 63 per cent: out of three proposals submitted, approximately two get funding! The calls follow a bottom-up approach: every topic that supports SMEs in their innovation efforts is welcome.

SMEs often do not have the capacity to conduct research on their own to solve a problem, tackle challenges and make existing processes more innovative. Here, Collective Research is the answer! The pre-competitive character of the international collaboration projects enables a large number of SMEs benefitting from one project as the research results are widely published.

Information about the application process

For the international proposal which is handed in jointly by all project participants via the CORNET Submission Tool, applicants are kindly asked to use the latest version of the proposal documents which is available for download in the section Guidelines and Templates.
Further information about the application process, the composition of international project consortia and the timeline of the current call is available in the section Calls for Proposals. If there are any questions regarding the international CORNET application, please do not hesitate to contact the CORNET Coordination Office.
For information about the national/regional part of the application, please contact the resepective Funding Organisation of your country/region.
