National programmes

The aim of national initiatives is to support the creation of modern solutions and technologies increasing innovation, and thus the competitiveness of the Polish economy. Their goal is also to strengthen cooperation between Polish business and science.

Economic and social development of Poland

The Center achieves these goals by developing programmes to support applied research and R&D works, financing the commercialization of research results and transferring results to the economy, and supporting the development of academics. NCBR also conducts works related to the monitoring of projects commissioned by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.
Within the framework of national programmes, joint ventures are also implemented, i.e. projects in cooperation with an external entity that is obliged to contribute at least 50% of the funds allocated to co-financing.
