Annual report of the NCBR 2020

We present to you the NCBR 2020 Annual Report. The study is a summary of the another year of NCBR's activity at a particularly difficult time. It was the time not only of the global fight against the coronavirus pandemic, but also the time of dynamic changes of the Center as a modern unit, quickly responding to the needs of NCBR's clients and the market. Last year, we managed to provide our beneficiaries with funds in the amount of over PLN 5 billion for the implementation of innovative R&D projects.
2020 is the time of implementing the new NCBR strategy, further expansion of the support ecosystem for our partners and building the Center's position as a knowledge institution. Last year was also the introduction to the portfolio of programmes in new R&D formulas and the implementation of those already well known.
The 2020 Annual Report shows how the Center functioned last year, summarized the most important data, events and processes, with particular emphasis on a number of changes that we introduced to facilitate our clients and beneficiaries.
An interesting part of the Report, which was published for the first time in this form, is the successes of our beneficiaries in a horizontal perspective, presented as a comparative analysis of all projects completed in 2020. Another new part is a response to trends, which presents the actions taken by the Center in response to the specific challenges of last year.
The publication also provides information on the implementation of important processes in 2020 (especially in the context of a quick response to the pandemic), the digital transformation of the Center and, of course programmes that were included in the NCBR's portfolio.
