Our websiteWhat problem does our project solve?
This project concluded with tests conducted for the solution under laboratory conditions.
The basic components of the technology were integrated and a general mapping of the target system under laboratory conditions was achieved. The greatest success of the project is the empirical demonstration of the possibility of analysing a photograph taken with a smartphone obtaining the aforementioned accuracy. The next steps will be automating the process, making it independent from environmental conditions (measurement under suitable light parameters), an intuitive guidance system, a system for analysing the results and interfaces allowing the application to operate not only in the iOS environment.
Who will benefit from the project's results?
Further plans for the development of the project envisage that it will continue to be implemented with funds obtained under the next investment round and the European Funds for Smart Economy Programme. The technological assumptions developed as part of the Alpha Bridge Programme funds will be used to develop an international commercial product and confirm its effectiveness through MDR certification. Commercialisation is at the stage of discussions with potential clients from the e-commerce industry, private health service networks and bodies linked to Ministries of Health in Africa and Asia, with whom letters of intent have been signed expressing willingness to use the solution when it is technologically ready.
