The National Centre for Research and Development (NCBR) constantly recruits foreign experts for cooperation. Most of the tasks are carried out remotely: via an IT system, e-mail correspondence or participation in meetings using means of electronic communication. Experts’ tasks include:

  • evaluation of applications submitted in response to the calls for proposals announced by the NCBR (including international programs),
  • monitoring of project execution and implementation of project results,
  • audits of projects,
  • providing other kinds of opinions, e.g. financial and economic.

In order to start the cooperation with the NCBR, the expert should register in the NCBR Expert Database (InfoExpert) by creating an account:

  • Click on the link leading to the registration form in InfoExpert.
  • Fill in a short form. Please remember that the email address provided in the form will be your login into the system and the defined password will be used for logging in.
  • You must fully activate the account by providing the data in the ‘Expert Profile’ (all obligatory data is marked with a red asterisk). Please remember that the adequacy and details about your publications, projects, business experience, etc will help us to match the peer-review offers precisely to your competences and knowledge. If you refresh or close the website with the obligatory fields incomplete, the form will not be saved. Detailed information on the registration process can be found in InfoExpert – Guidelines.

Once you submit the application form, the NCBR starts the verification process of your candidacy. If the verification is positive, the expert will receive an invitation to sign the Framework Agreement. The agreement is concluded for an indefinite period of time.

The rules of cooperation between the expert and the NCBR are described in detail in the "Rules of Cooperation with NCBR Experts" which is an integral part of the agreement. We encourage you to read the most important documents before you start your registration:
