The University of Silesia has the honor to invite scientists, students and PhD students of all European universities and institutions to participate in the EU TalentOn 2024 European Union Contest for early-career researchers.

The cohort of start-ups participating in the acceleration activity of the National Centre for Research and Development with the State of Nevada has just completed its acceleration process in the Silver and Sunshine States. Polish companies presented themselves before mentors and investors from Poland and the USA. The visit was aimed at gaining unique experience in scaling business on the US market, improving dialogue with demanding investors and establishing beneficial relationships with partners who are of key importance for the success of expansion on the American and global market.

In the framework of „Brussels Talks” series, organized by the NCBR Office in Brussels | Business & Science Poland, we cordially invite you to join another meeting – the topic in May is Clean Planet research and our distinguished guest is Rosalinde van der Vlies, Director of Clean Planet, DG RTD, European Commission. The event takes place on Wednesday, 22nd of May 2024, 11:00-12:00.

NCBR has announced a call for proposals for joint projects between scientists and entrepreneurs who wish to receive funding from Swiss Funds in the area of applied research. The deadline for submission of proposals is 1 July, with 15 million Swiss francs, which is more than PLN 66.5 million, available for use in this year's competition.
