On November 7, at the PAA’s headquarters, a meeting was held between the President of the National Atomic Energy Agency, Andrzej Głowacki, and the Head of the Dutch nuclear regulatory authority, Annemiek van Bolhuis, during which a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between both institutions.

The President of the National Atomic Energy Agency, Andrzej Głowacki, met on November 4, 2024, with a member of the United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission (US NRC), Commissioner David A. Wright. Commissioner Wright is in Poland to participate in the 25th INLA (International Nuclear Law Association) Congress, which has begun in Warsaw.

Verification visit of the European Commission, in accordance with Art. 35 of the Euratom Treaty took place on 28-31 October 2024.

The conference is attended by a Polish delegation headed by the President of the National Atomic Energy Agency, Andrzej Głowacki. - Poland is continuing its efforts to maintain nuclear safety and radiation protection - said Andrzej Głowacki during Poland's speech.

During the meeting with President of the PAA, Andrzej Glowacki, Chairman Hanson stressed the great importance of the nearly 15-year-long cooperation with the Polish nuclear regulatory authority. As part of the visit, the heads of the Polish and American regulators also met with the authorities of the Pomeranian Voivodeship. The talks focused on plans to construct the country's first nuclear power plant.

President of the PAA Andrzej Głowacki took part in the 15th National Conference - Ionizing Radiation in Medicine PJOMED 2024. This year's edition focuses on radiological procedures, especially important from the point of view of radiation protection of the patient.

A delegation of the National Atomic Energy Agency (PAA), led by President Andrzej Głowacki, took part in the periodic conference of the Association of Radiological Protection Inspectors (SIOR). This year's conference was devoted to current issues in the field of environmental dosimetry and radiotherapy in the context of the growing role of Radiation Protection Officers. The event took place on May 9-10 in Opole.

On April 22, the President of the National Atomic Energy Agency issued a general opinion on the nuclear safety analysis methodologies used by the supplier of the NuScale NPM-20 technology.
