Poland is particularly keen to look after the interests of Polish farmers and entrepreneurs in its relations with Latin American and Caribbean countries.

This time, local authorities across Poland will receive up to PLN 3.5 million for the renovation or reconstruction of historic buildings. Thanks to government support, historic buildings will regain their beauty. Renovation will help to restore their convenience - many of the monuments house schools, offices or community centres. The renovation will give them a new life, so that they can serve residents for many years to come. It is the repaired public finances that have made it possible to implement the Government Monuments Reconstruction Programme, which is already entering the implementation phase - we are providing over PLN 2.5 billion for more than 4,800 projects.

10.07.2023 WołominPrime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki on the free medicines programme: today, we have adopted a very positive change in the programme for virtually all Polish peopleThe free medicines programme is now expanded. People over 65 years old as well as children and young people up to the age of 18 will benefit from the new measure. People over 75 years old have already been taking advantage of free prescription drugs since 2016. Now, the programme will be available to a larger numer of Polish women and men - for a total of around 16 million people. This is another element of the government's social policy. The expansion of the programme would not have been possible without the a changes in public finances, thanks to which more money goes into the state budget.

Volhynia is an open wound in the history of our nations. On the occasion of the upcoming 80th anniversary of the Volhynian Massacre, Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki paid tribute to the Poles murdered by the Ukrainian Insurgent Army (the UPA). The head of the government visited two non-existent villages in Ukraine, Ostrówki and Puźniki, where the search for a mass grave is underway. As he pointed out, the Volhynian Massacre must be explained and written down to the very end.
