This international economic event attracts representatives of state and local administration from over a dozen member states of the Three Seas Initiative. In addition to the economy, one of the main themes of the Congress focused on aid to Ukraine, university cooperation and security. This year, the event is accompanied by the Business Forum, which aims to allow participants to share their experience.

Today, the International Olympiad Medalists Award Ceremony for the 2020/2021 school year was held for the second time with the participation of Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki. Its aim is to honour the participants of the Olympiads and their tutors - teachers, mentors and representatives of committees of national Olympiads that prepare students for international competitions.

Many wonderful memories come to mind on this day. Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki invited children and their guardians to celebrate together in the gardens of the Prime Minister's Chancellery. Animations for smaller and bigger ones, handicraft workshops, racing and speedway motorbike simulators, lots of games and activities - these are just some of the attractions that took place during the picnic. Our event entertained, but also taught. Children could learn the basics of first aid or how to adopt a healthy lifestyle.

04.06.2022Prime Minister in Olkusz on the increase in spending on health careFor the government, there is nothing more important than ensuring the safety and health of Poles. That is why we are constantly striving to improve the functioning of the health service. Without increased funding, this will not be possible. We want to increase spending on health care to 7 per cent of GDP over the next six years. Already in 2023, it will reach 6 per cent of GDP. Additional money will be allocated to investments and modernisation of infrastructure, among other things. Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki attended the symbolic handover of the keys to a new ambulance at the New Hospital in Olkusz. He also visited the construction site of the operating theatre.

Originally, the Championship was to be organised by Russia but the International Volleyball Federation took away the right to organise the event after the country’s invasion on Ukraine and appointed Poland and Slovenia to be the hosts.

03.06.2022 PragaPolish-Czech inter-governmental consultations confirmed our partnership in many dimensionsThe issues discussed during today's meeting, chaired by Prime Ministers Mateusz Morawiecki and Petr Fiala, concerned further cooperation in the area of energy and infrastructure development and defence. During the consultations, the politicians also continued discussions on the Russian aggression against Ukraine and its consequences. The last meeting of the two state leaders took place at the end of April 2022. At that time, the Prime Minister declared that Poland would help its southern neighbours become energy independent from Russia. During the consultations, the Prime Ministers signed, inter alia, an agreement on cooperation in the field of defense and an agreement on cooperation in the development of transport connections. The Prime Minister, thanking for effective talks, expressed his hope for further good and intensive cooperation.

01.06.2022Prime Minister in Ukraine: the documents signed are a prelude to completely different cooperation, one that Ukraine has not had with any other country until nowPrime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, Deputy Prime Minister Jarosław Kaczyński and other ministers participated in the Polish-Ukrainian intergovernmental consultations. This is yet another manifestation of Poland's unprecedented political support for Ukraine in the face of Russian aggression. At the same time, it is also a symbol of the need to return to normality and traditional bilateral relations. During the meeting of representatives of the Polish and Ukrainian governments, a number of bilateral documents were signed, including those related to the national memory, environmental protection, energy and trade. The delegations also discussed the issue of rebuilding the country. The Polish government explicitly declared support of our companies for the reconstruction of destroyed towns in Ukraine.

It has its roots in numerous strike committees. During the anniversary congress, the head of the Polish government emphasized the role of the union and its members: ‘On behalf of the government of the Republic of Poland and the whole nation, I would like to thank you for the great work. For everything that “Solidarność” has done for Poland, for Europe and for the world.’
