The ceremonial unveiling of a monument commemorating Polish children and their adult guardians who found safe refuge in Oudtshoorn in 1943 took place on 24 September 2025. The delegation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs was led by Undersecretary of State, Ms. Henryka Mościcka-Dendys, and the Institute of National Remembrance was represented by the Vice-President of the Institute of National Remembrance, Dr. Mateusz Szpytma.

The European Film Festival 2025 (EUFF) will take place in South Africa from October 9-19, 2025. Screenings will take place in Johannesburg at the Bioscope and Nu Metro Hyde Park cinemas, and in Cape Town at The Labia cinema.

The 81st anniversary of the Warsaw Uprising and the Warsaw Flights was commemorated in Johannesburg at the Katyn Monument on September 6, 2025.

The Association of Siberian Deportees in Southern Africa, in cooperation with the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Pretoria and Johannesburg Holocaust & Genocide Centre, organized on 24 August 2025 a screening of the Polish film entitled "Siberian Exile" in Johannesburg.

Johannesburg Holocaust & Genocide Center hosted the official opening of the temporary exhibition "More Important Than Life: The Underground Archive of the Warsaw Ghetto." on 14 August 2025. The exhibition was prepared by the NSDOK Munich and the Emanuel Ringelblum Jewish Historical Institute, with the support of the Association of the Jewish Historical Institute of Poland. The opening ceremony was attended by, among others, JH&CG Director Tali Nates, Head of the Polish Embassy in Pretoria Jacek Chodorowicz, and German Ambassador Andreas Peschke.
