Poland is providing both humanitarian and military aid to Ukraine. A medical train for transporting the injured during the invasion of Russia is already operational. Poland has opened reception centres for refugees fleeing Russian aggression near the main border crossings between Poland and Ukraine, with the border itself 535 km long. The arriving persons can receive information, meals, rest and medical help.

The main theme of this year’s celebration was the need to keep the memory of the Holocaust, of the victims of the Holocaust and to hear the words of those who survived the Holocaust.
