A medical train for transporting the injured during the invasion of Russia is already operational. Poland has opened reception centres for refugees fleeing Russian aggression near the main border crossings between Poland and Ukraine, with the border itself 535 km long. The arriving persons can receive information, meals, rest and medical help.

From 25th February, 2022, under a special regulation, COVID-19 entry restrictions on Polish-Ukrainian border will be temporarily suspended due to military conflict in Ukraine. Tests and proofs of vaccination / convalescence will not be required and there will be no obligation to undergo quarantine.
