Animal Identification and Registration System, catalogue of machinery for agricultural production and the potential of artificial intelligence in activities of the paying agency – these were the main topics discussed during the meeting held on 21th February 2024 at the ARMA Headquarters.

We have been working with the Latvian Paying Agency for years and we are happy to share knowledge. Today, many interesting and important topics will be raised during the discussion. I am convinced that the experts who will be speaking will live up to expectations - with these words, the deputy president of ARMA Joanna Gierulska opened the meeting.

The aim of the visit was to share experiences and discuss how EU solutions are implemented at national level.

The Latvian delegation led by Deputy Directors of the RSS Agency Mr. Indulis Abolins and Mr. Andris Grundulis had the opportunity to listen to presentations prepared by representatives of the Producer Register and Animal Registration System Department, Premium Schemes Department, Investment Schemes Department, Reference Databases and On-the-Spot Control Department and Agro Applications.
The ARMA experts shared their knowledge and willingly answered the questions asked by the guests.
