06.08.2020The National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management has opened a call for proposals for funding the restoration of usable or ecological properties of areas degraded by human activity and for closing and restoration of landfills or extractive waste treatment facilities.

03.08.2020The Ministry of Climate has prepared a report on the results of monitoring the safety of gas supplies for 2019. In accordance with the document, during the time the Polish natural gas system was operating without any issues, and the safety of natural gas supplies was not compromised.

22.07.2020The Spring drought and summertime downpours show the importance of water management and micro-retention on a national level. A call for proposals under the project allowing to obtain up to PLN 5 thousand in subsidies for household rainwater or snowmelt was launched at the beginning of July. That is another initiative of the Ministry of Climate and the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management in support of the use of environmentally-friendly solutions by Polish citizens. In addition to the subsidies, the programme has another important aspect - it allows to stimulate businesses which provide Polish green technologies. That trend is exemplified by the companies which have won the GreenEvo programme.

17.07.2020Beginning on July 22nd, the local government units will be able to use aid for the implementation of retention tasks in rural areas. PLN 50 million has been allocated for this purpose in the form of grants reaching up to 70% of eligible costs. The recruitment shall continue until 17 December next year or until the budget is exhausted.
